The Rapid Bucarest U19 team enjoyed an unforgettable experience in Madrid thanks to the Training Trips organised by Fútbol In Events, a project designed to combine high-level youth football, international competition and cultural experiences under the Fiexperience concept.
The Romanian side, currently third in the national U19 league in Romania, stayed in Madrid from December 7th to December 13th, living an intense and enriching week both on and off the pitch.
High-level matches against Madrid academies
One of the main highlights of this Training Trip was the opportunity to play friendly matches against some of Madrid’s most prestigious football academies. Rapid Bucharest faced:
- Rayo Vallecano Academy
- Getafe CF Academy
- CD Leganés Academy
- ED Moratalaz Academy
These matches allowed the players to compete in a demanding environment, experience Spanish football methodology and measure themselves against top-level youth academies.
More than football: discovering Madrid
Beyond football, the Training Trip offered the Romanian team the chance to discover Madrid from a cultural and leisure perspective. Players and staff enjoyed sightseeing around the city and experienced the special atmosphere of Madrid during the Christmas season.
One of the most memorable activities was a visit to “Mágicas Navidades” in Torrejón de Ardoz, adding a unique and festive touch to an already outstanding week.
